Unified Platform Brings Together Mine Planning, Analytics and Operational Execution
The launch marks a significant milestone in the company’s strategy to consolidate a range of specialist digital mining technologies into a single connected ecosystem. The integrated offering combines technologies developed through Epiroc’s digital acquisitions and years of software integration, development and mining expertise.
The new portfolio, delivered through Epiroc’s Groundbreaking Intelligence platform, comprises five digital mine planning solutions: Work Manager, SimulatOre, Drill Quality Manager, InterOp and the newly introduced OreInventory.
Building a Connected Digital Mining Ecosystem
The launch follows several years of integration work across Epiroc’s digital technology portfolio.
A key foundation of the new offering is MineRP, which Epiroc acquired in 2021. The company said MineRP contributed expertise in integrated mine planning, operational execution and optimisation.
The technologies have now been consolidated into a unified platform designed to connect planning, geology, survey, operations and enterprise systems through a shared digital environment.
The objective is to provide mining companies with greater visibility across operations while reducing manual processes and improving collaboration between teams.

New OreInventory Solution Expands Planning Capabilities
A key addition to the portfolio is OreInventory, a new mineral inventory and ore-flow management solution.
The platform centralises ore-flow networks, stockpile balances, material grades and movement tracking to support blending decisions and supply chain planning.
OreInventory also supports ore accounting, reconciliation and reporting by integrating operational data with geological models, mine plans and survey information.
The solution is intended to provide mining companies with greater transparency across material movement and inventory management processes.
AI and Analytics Support Faster Decisions
Among the new offerings is SimulatOre, an AI-driven decision-support platform that combines predictive modelling, optimisation and simulation capabilities.
The platform enables mining teams to forecast operating conditions, evaluate alternative scenarios and test production plans before implementation.
By analysing operational variability and risk factors, SimulatOre is designed to support production and financial objectives while helping operations respond more effectively to changing conditions.
The launch reflects the growing role of artificial intelligence and advanced analytics in modern mine planning and operational management.

Enhancing Operational Visibility and Drill Performance
Work Manager provides short-term planning and shift management capabilities, allowing mining teams to coordinate resources, monitor execution and track performance in real time.
It includes collaborative planning tools, reporting functionality and visibility across shift activities to help improve compliance with operational plans.
Meanwhile, Drill Quality Manager enables mining operations to monitor drilling performance through drill quality analytics and near real-time 3D visualisation.
The fleet-agnostic solution supports both surface and underground operations, helping teams identify deviations between planned and actual drilling, reduce re-drilling requirements and improve resource utilisation.
Interoperability Connects Mine Systems and Data
At the centre of the integrated offering is InterOp, Epiroc’s interoperability and data management platform.
Built on the Mine Operational Data Store (MiODS), InterOp connects planning, geology, survey, ERP and operational systems into a unified data ecosystem.
It enables real-time data exchange and governance while providing what Epiroc describes as a “single version of the truth” across mining operations.
André Steenkamp, General Manager, Plan Product Line, Epiroc, said: “Looking ahead, we will continue to develop and strengthen planning solutions to bring mine planning and operational execution even closer together in one connected workflow. By strengthening interoperability through InterOp, we will help customers build a single, trusted source of information across planning, geology, survey, and operations—reducing manual handovers and enabling faster, better decisions shift by shift.”

Supporting the Digital Mine of the Future
Epiroc said the integrated planning suite forms part of its broader vision to connect mine planning, operational execution and digital technologies within a single workflow.
Håkan Schildt, Vice President Business Line Safety & Digital Applications, Epiroc, said: “The global launch of our digital mine planning solutions is a result of the consolidation and integration work we have driven across Epiroc’s digital technology acquisitions. By bringing together specialist capabilities, including the heritage of MineRP as one of the cornerstones, we are now able to offer mining customers a seamlessly connected digital ecosystem spanning from mine safety, planning, to operation technologies.
The five solutions – Work Manager, SimulatOre, Drill Quality Manager, InterOp, including the new OreInventory – form the foundation that enables safer operations, better decision making, and more efficient execution, from strategic intent to shift by shift delivery, supported by Epiroc’s global expertise.”
