MaxMine has expanded into mining fleet management with a new AI-powered platform designed to improve operational visibility, productivity and decision-making, while partnering with L5 Navigation to integrate high-precision machine guidance capabilities.
Mining technology company MaxMine has announced its expansion into fleet management, introducing new business intelligence and AI-powered decision support capabilities aimed at helping mine operators improve productivity, reduce operational variability and lower cost per tonne.
The expansion builds on more than a decade of experience supporting mining operations and positions the company within a fleet management sector forecast to exceed USD$70 billion by 2030.
The new fleet management system (FMS) combines trusted operational data with real-time insights to help mining companies strengthen day-to-day decision-making without increasing operational complexity.

High-Precision Machine Guidance Added Through Partnership
As part of the expansion, MaxMine has partnered with Swedish machine control provider L5 Navigation to introduce Machine Guidance, a high-precision Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS)-based solution for mining equipment.
The technology enables operators to determine the precise location of drills, excavators, dozers and wheel loaders, while providing real-time visualisation of maps, mining surfaces and ore blocks within a synchronised 3D environment.
The Machine Guidance capability has been integrated into Pulse, MaxMine’s fleet management platform, providing real-time visibility of fleet location, payload, production cycles and operational status.
Real-Time Data Supports Continuous Improvement
Data captured through the fleet management platform will also feed into MaxMine’s Impact solution, where it is used to support targeted operational improvement programmes across production, operator performance, safety, road conditions and asset health.
The combination of fleet management, machine guidance and AI-enabled analytics is designed to help mining teams make faster, more informed operational decisions while improving overall site performance.
Building On Operational Experience
The expansion follows more than 10 years of mining technology development, during which MaxMine has completed more than 230 incident investigations, analysed over 14 million operational hours and tracked and optimised more than 580 million tonnes of material annually.
According to the company, these insights have supported productivity improvements, enhanced mine safety and strengthened sustainability outcomes across customer operations.
