BUILDERS OF THE FUTURE The West African country of Guinea is one of the richest in the world in terms of minerals, boasting high-quality bauxite, open-pit iron ore mining with 75 percent purity, and some of the finest gold deposits. Over the past decade, the country’s local content standards have significantly improved to meet the strict requirements of the international corporations operating in the country, allowing ripe opportunities to arise for local companies to grow within this framework.
